I'm selling a young Leopard Tortoise in the Birmingham, AL area if anyone is interested. My plans to extend my fence fell through and I'm not going to put him with my adult sulcata. He is very very active and eating everything.

Leopard Tortoise (Geochelone Babcocki)
4 1/2 months old. The tortoise is growing fast! He was what I considered the pick of the litter and was the biggest. He was also eating the best. Currently he is 3.5 inches. He eats mostly grass, weeds, kale, turnip greens, and spring mix.
These guys get big. The leopard tortoise is the second largest tortoise native to Africa. They can grow up to 18 inches and weigh 60 pounds. They also can live up to 100 years old. It's a serious commitment. Read these links on proper care.

They need to stay warm with a basking area. Needs sunlight a few times a week. Needs a humidity hide when young. Once it gets bigger he will need to be housed outside or spend most of the day outside. An insulated heated outdoor shed will work. A backyard with grass is a must for these beautiful creatures.
Serious Inquiries Only. $150. Pickup in or around Birmingham area.
Thanks.
