Worst I've ever seen. Literally looks like a duck.
Glad the grandson recognized something was off with the turtle he inherited.
People always give you a hard time online; with opinions, and just right out bashing you even when you explain the situation, but I'm glad he took the initiative to make things better.

.. well, this poor creature *barely* even resembled a box turtle. It was horrifying to watch the video, it didn’t use its back legs which looked scary skinny, the body hung far out of the undersized shell and (though not quite as bad as this post) the beak slightly resembled a duck. I had no words, it was nauseating. I was the first to see the post and I refuse to be cruel, though felt this was beyond a quick educational comment, so ultimately just posted “This turtle is very sick please seek a qualified reptile vet asap.” (She didn’t take it well) … so, it only took about 15 min for the post to completely blow up to a bit more than 60 comments! You can imagine the range of responses. Point is— the woman *insisted repeatedly* that he had just recently come from the vet who “ok’d him” 
and that he was “just old, 60 years to be exact”. She, despite the comments and overwhelming evidence against her (she supposedly has had the animal for 30 years now) refused any wrongdoing whatsoever in his care. Anyway, she was eventually kicked and post shut down then eventually deleted. But my god was it eye opening… some people cannot for the life of them admit fault despite their supposed “love” for the animal. This is abuse. It’s sad and infuriating. I ended up showing my kids for various reasons and to open up a discussion and they were just as shocked and heartbroken as I was.
