Fairly new to the Yellow Foot thing, and all my reading has told me that they need a little bit of protein. The best way to get this I guess is through worms.... What is the general thought in this, and which one is best? My options are - wax, butter, or super (chopped up)

I don't have a rf but with my box turtle I load up his enclosure with night crawlers so he can hunt. Anything with a head to cut off just kinda grosses me out :)

I feed mine the occasional hard boiled egg (with the shell), sometimes cooked chicken and occasionally Purina Pro Plan dry cat food (moistened).

You can buy worms (earthworms, butterworms, phoenix worms, ect..,) from pet stores and online. There are things like chicken/turkey (I prefer to feed it boiled), boiled eggs, dead feeder mice, even fish. A lot of possible choices out there. :)

Many bait shops also sell worms of all sizes, but they might not have much in the off season :D

Phoenix worms (black Spanish fly larva) are the bomb.
