So can you trust where he came from that he was alone for a while,How long did the last owner have him for, maybe you don't need to quarantine for that long. I some times wonder about this quarantine business. Its safe to just say quarantine everything, but where is the line drawn really. The 2 extremes are probably:-

1. A wild caught tortoise that could be carrying alsorts and must be quarantined and vetted.
2. A tort that has been alone all of its life in good care. Surely this in effect has been quarantined all its life.

Maybe some experienced tort owners could expand on this subject.

I have no doubt at all you are wanting to get all your torts together asap.

Bet your over the moon at the minute.
I quarantine at least a year to make sure there are no diseases introduced to my herd and at least one vet visit!

I understand that some don't quarantine at all or do so for a shorter period. congrats on the beginnings of a breeding colony's! Be prepared for a ton of eggs and the ultimate test in patience.

I'm home, but I'm tackling house repairs right now. I fed and watered them, but left them apart for now.
I'm trying to figure out why my alarm system wont turn on.
tomorrow for sure.

Shhhh. Game of thrones is on. Lol. Only kidding. Make sure all you sensors are closed. Sometimes on my alarm if one door or window is not closed the sensors don't make contact and alarm can't be activated. Or if a motion sensor has been tripped it will want resetting. Back to game of thrones lol

It's the back door. The battery is $5 but ADT will install a new one for free!
Just pay the service technician $25 for the service.
Such a deal.
Last nights "Thrones" wasn't the best...

Now I need to post another question.
Will he eventually knock it off?
I mean will he have to be removed or will he settle down?
This has been going on since the introduction two hours ago.
