Hello, I'm in Central Florida and am coming through my yard with scissors (I think of you Tom) looking for weeds to feed my Leo and Sulcata hatchling. I use 2 different plant ID apps but still get nervous as multiple options usually pop up. This weed has a slightly fuzzy texture and gets tiny purple flowers.

I suppose it could be but those flowers don't look right; they should be open, not narrow. Are there any flowers on the plant that are open, that you could take a good picture of? From what I am reading the flowers don't last long so I don't know how easy it would be to get a good photo.

I will try first thing in the morning. It's so hot here in FL that the flowers wilt or close immediately. Thx!
