wild 3 toe box turtle found in back yard

I posted this earlier when I didn't know what kinda turtle it was and lots of forum members told me it was a three two box turtle, a very pretty one at that too so I thought I would share with a more appropriate title so people looking for some box turtle pics could find it

r they normally that red?

3-toed. Maybe they look like this in specific areas, but I have not seen really any with that much vibrant red color. I, like many, have seen a lot over the years.

His head is very red, but not high contrast. He looks very nice.
