Hi everyone I'm new here. I've have a hermann. I've only had her a couple of months. We think she about 25yo. But I've noticed she has white stuff on her shell. It come out more when she in the sun. I don't know if it's shell rot or calcium from hard water. She's fine within herself eating drinking active. Please can someone help.

It is not very visible in the pics . As shell grows it is Pale and black pigment then fills in. Can you gently pour warm water over the shell avoiding it falling near the face and wipe the shell to see if it still shows and if it goes take a pic in a different location and as close as possible. Sorry just need more to help assume you have correct settings and substrate? Could the tortoise be bashing against something in the enclosure?
