White rings

hi all. I've got a 20 months old horsefield named Tiddles. Over the last couple of weeks I've noticed that he has had lots of small white rings appearing under the surface of his shell. He is my baby and I'm worried there's something wrong with him. Any suggestions as to what it may be?

Sounds like new growth, which is normal. A pic would help.

Do a search for "white squiggly lines." We have several threads about this phenom here on the Forum.
