White mold on terra-cotta pot

I recently planted grass in a terra-cotta pot for my 10 month sulcata. I have the pot in a windowsill & water it regularly. I just noticed there is small spots of white mold growing on the outside of the pot. Not sure if anyone has had the same problem with their own grosingOf course, I will remove the mold with the proper technique.

My question is if the mold on the outside will effect the health of my Sulcata if I continue feeding the grass?
I’m open to any suggestions or answers! Thanks
