Hi everyone its been some time since ive been here. My tort that ive named "Dino" has been doing fine since the last time i was here and that was because he was new to me and was not eating.

The suns comming back Dino is spending more time outside.
Before letting him out this morning. I was letting him soak in a warm water and noticed between his plates on his shell some white coloration.
its not protruding its not between his plates but its just as if the corners were they meet are not colored yet this would include part of the plate about 1/16 of an inch.
Is this due to growth and the new growth is not colored?
Thanks in advanced and as always the great colaberation of knowledge
here.

Welcome back. I think a pic would be very helpful here. Does your camera have a "Digital Macro" mode?

That is just the beginnings of your leopard's coloration...or mottling. As he grows, you'll notice it better.

I think you don't have anything to worry about... but how old is your leo? Looks very young based on the pic you posted... here is what you get if you take that picture on a 14 year old.

I want to see more photos, auerdoan! :)

I don't remember you properly introducing your tortoise to the forum. How about a full-body shot? ;)
