Hard to see the back feet clearly, but my first guess is 3-toed box turtle. Second guess is Gulf Coast box turtle.

BOX turtle... To clarify... Turtle does not mean water... Box turtles are still land animals...

Actually, BOX turtles need water. They enjoy swimming, as well. They are not Tortoises.

Yes I agree. I didn't mean to Give the wrong information. I meant they're not like red eared slider turtles. Tortoises like Water 2. I consider box turtles to be more like tortoises then turtle turtles. I guess I just meant...don't throw him in an aquarium. Lol
