Help identifying tortoise

hello could someone please help me identify which kind of tortoise I have I'm not sure if its a male or female but it was found in Kentucky on a four lane highway I have done a lot of research on the internet but I cannot seem to pinpoint with Species it is

Not a tortoise but a female box turtle. Thanks for saving her.

Terrapene carolina carolina, to be exact.

Thank you ! I'm assuming she is a she and what are the best foods for her ? Trying to make the best possible home for her and it's hard to just go with what you read on the Internet as you get a lot of conflicting information
