Hello,

I will have my first tortoise here soon. He is a 2 month old hermanns tort. I plan on feeding a good variety of foods. I live in Michigan and winter weeds are hard to come by. I have a good pellet food and I've already been eyeing my local grocery store for acceptable greens. I am wondering what is the best dried mixed blend. How about this one:

Would this be the best option to supplement my "grocery store" diet of fresh collard green, mustard green, dandelion leafs, kale, endive green variety?

It is one of many good options.

I would add much more variety to your existing list and adding a soaked ZooMed Grassland pellet is a good way to add some fiber too.

Look for escarole, cilantro, carrot tops, celery tops, turnip greens, bok choy, spring mix, radiccio, water cress, green beans, grated pumpkin or other squashes, etc...

Thank you. I forgot to mention that I do mix the greens with presoaked ZooMed grassland pellets. I'll look to add the others as well.
