which grass is it?

Does anyone know which type of grass it? Should I feed my tortoise this? My friend feed this grass to his cows.

I don't know what species it is, but if the cows are eating it and doing well, then it should be fine for a large tortoise too.

I agree with @Tom. Just remove any weeds or debris you can't identify as being safe.
