Just a quick question about when and what lights to turn off at night time. Do I turn all of them off ( all meaning UVB and basking ) or just one? Thanks [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

All lights should be turned off at night. Depending on type of tortoise and the temps in your house, you may be able to turn heat off too. Like an adult Russian can take temps to 65-68 at night as long as it warms up during the day.

It should be totally dark at night, but you still need to maintain the appropriate temperatures for your given species. If needed, night heat can be maintain by ceramic heating elements set on a thermostat.
