What's this grass and broad leaf thing?

there's tons of these growing in my backyard and I just want to know if they're good for my redfoot

The first one looks like some sort of onion. Does it smell oniony? The second one sort of looks like datura.

It's dark out so I'll check in the morning, but I'm not sure if the second one is datura. You cant see it in the picture but the middle of the plant is quite white... as if there's short hairs/white powder in the middle.
