What are we lookin' at? Long toenails? A piece of substrate near the chin? Dirty fingernails?

I'm going to guess you are talking about the funny shell lumps and things where the egg sack was attached. Am I correct? That is where the egg sack is attached and I have no idea, as I don't have babies, but I have seen many on here that just seem to close up kinda funny or bumpy

You don't have to be so rude.

That's where the yolk sack was absorbed. Sometimes it can leave a funny looking plastron compared to others so I wouldn't worry.

I dont think she was being rude. It was not clearly stated what the op was asking. It could have been anyone thing Ms. Yvonne was asking about.

And im not sure what the op was talking abiut either. Im sure he/she will let us know soon.

It wasn't meant to be rude, but rather as a joke. I guess my sense of humor isn't as well-tuned as yours. Sorry, and I apologize to the OP.

Sorry I am new to this forum thing...and it did not post what I wrote just the picture...I have two sulcata tortoise...I noticed the cracks and bubbleing the other night. Only Mo has it. So..I didn't know if maybe he had been dropped or if there was to much calcium in his diet or something like that. We have had them several months and never noticed it. They are just over 1 year old. 1385511314805.jpg1385511343069.jpg

Whoa. Easy there tiger. Get to know us all first before you go making assumptions and gettin' on everybody's bad side...

Yvonne is one of the least rude people here. We have some light hearted fun from time to time here. Its not rude.

That is a fairly normal looking plastron. They are all a little different. I don't see anything wrong or anything to worry about.

Hey, it's okay. Everybody has to learn some where some time and I am glad your learning here with us.

Mod note: Yvonne has explained it was a post given in teasing and I am sure Nuh has realized their mistake. From this point on, no more talking about that. We are talking about plastrons.

Your first five posts have to be approved by a moderator, so they don't show up right away. It will make more sense now that your are up to number 6 and they will just show up right away for you.

Hope you enjoy your time here.

He doesn't need his nails trimmed. Letting them walk on rough ground is usually enough.

There's nothing wrong with your baby's toenails. It was my failed attempt at being funny. Please disregard my previous post.

(Sometime I think I'm way funnier than I really am)

You don't have to be so rude.

I think you may have mistook humor for rudeness.
