Looking at the pics of the French Western Hermann's for sale - I was wondering if there is a difference between the French and Italian Western Hermann's?

Kimber there are slight differences (DNA and morphology) in almost every isolated population of Western Hermanns, Spanish, French, Italian, Majorca & Minorca, Sardinia, Corsica and Sicily.

If anyone has an interest in Western Hermann's and their differences check out HermanniChris' website:

www.gardenstatetortoise.com

Chris has the most remarkable captive collection of Western Hermann's in the U.S. including representatives from Spanish, French, Italian and other populations.

The site is loaded with amazing photos and lots of great information.
