Not sure, but it sort of resembles the "mint" at my house. Does it smell like spearmint?

Looks a bit like "ground ivy" (http://www.ppws.vt.edu/scott/weed_id/glehe.htm)
or possibly wild violet if it gets a flower

Thanks for the replies. I'll look up all the suggestions and compare them to the plant again. And niki, if you're typing a post, up in the right hand corner is a "+" symbol (next to the send button).
