In the short time I've had Levi, he hasn't shown interest in eating anything outdoors but today took a shining to this thorny weed in the gravel of my backyard. No idea what they are... Is it safe?

Looks like thistle to me. If it is, it's safe to eat.

Just wish the pic was in better light... it reminds me of Bristly ox tongue... which is edible... but a better picture would be cool...
