my Sulcata has taken to a ball in his yard.
A lovely pic of a cute tort! :tort: Please allow me to point out there's pyramiding. :( Do you give your tort daily soaks in warm water? If not, then please do, so as to stop the pyramiding where it is. And make sure there's enough HUMIDITY. ;) Read the "Beginners Mistakes" Thread and the care sheet on Sulcatas, and ask any question when in doubt. :)

Any pics of his enclosure?

That tort is too old for the pyramiding to improve. But the new growth could come out smooth. He's not that badly pyramided. His is common in captivity.
