Water hyacinth?

Can I feed water hyacinth to my star tortoise, as well as stem also?

Water Hyacinth (Eichhornia), which isn't actually a Hyacinth, is safe for aquatic turtles to eat. I don't see any information online about the plant specifically for star tortoises, but if aquatic turtles can eat it, it is probably OK.

Do not feed any true Hyacinths to any animals, though.
