Hello!
I have a juvenile red foot whom i rescued a year ago unsure of age. She is currently in a 55gallon aquarium until we are able to build a table. She is on eco earth right now, with live plants. just wondering what substrates are best as i am currently using Eco Earth it hold humidity okay. Ambient temps range from 80-85F on hot side and 70-75F on cold side. Basking temp is 85-90F. I can grab the tank measurements when i get back home as well as take photos. I just feel the tank doesn't reach adequate temperatures as well as it doesn't hold humidity as i would prefer. I have one large water dish to drink from and soak from, i also have an automatic mister I can program. I fear the substrate is either too wet or too dry. i have two digital thermometer / hygrometer combos on each side of the tank as well as a temperature gun for direct temps. Hope this makes sense, thanks!!
