Aww your tort is adorable! Porky is so destructive. I once thought it was because he was bored or not getting enough exercise. Changed everything around for him, got him bigger enclosure and still the same thing. I just worry that he will flip himself over.

Yeah, Shermann has destroyed all plants I have put in his enclosure. He stomps around like a tank! I put some parsley in there and it was in a pot too, but still destroyed! The rosemary I have is holding up a bit better though :p What do you have in Porky's enclosure?

Echo has a log hide and its not buried at all in the substrate, so its level. I walked into my room the other day and checked on him and he was chillin on top of the log. Considering he is 2.25 inches and his log hide is as tall as 3 of him stacked, i thought it was a pretty good feat :D

That's so cute! One time I saw daisy lounging on top of her log hide-- I thought it was pretty impressive because it was about 4-5" tall and she was about 11/2"tall! It was so funny because she was perfectly balanced!

Porky has African violets, succulents, and coleus. I Auvergne some wildflowers to put in there but he's just going to trample those also. That is funny they hang out on top of their hides. I got him last November and I don't think he had a lot of human interaction. So he's still getting used to us. He hisses when I pick him up. I have never seen him drink thou. So he gets soaked a couple times a week. Here is a pic of his enclosure. ImageUploadedByTortoiseForum1368053661.818038.jpg

that looks amazing. I think mine is a bit boring really... might have to make it bigger too. Might overhaul it tomorrow!

He seems much happier since we enlarged his cage. But the flowers/plants don't ever last too long with him.

I'm thinking about buying some plastic ones that he can hide in amongst. He absolutely flattened the violas I put in there. Thinking of putting a second story on his table... do I make it out of wood to match, or get a plastic box and affix it to the top... decisions decisions!! Just been searching on here at other peoples ideas and there are some inspiring pictures!

Do you let Porky outside? We've got an outdoor pen for Shermann, but it has been absolutely atrocious weather today where I am, so I feel like he needs more space.

He does go out but only on our porch. As we live in a villa we don't have a lot of grass. We live in Florida. Hate that we don't have more room.

Two levels would be neat
