Well, today WalkingRock got to do what he likes more than anything else! He got to visit the School for Fairday. He's a real ham and loves to have the attention of the kids!

Just a little celery to guide him along

How cool. I love the pic with the tortoise and the hare. Nice that you can let the kids enjoy him too.

Holy crap he is huge! Now I can see how big they really get when I compare him to the bunny. How in the heck are most people with baby sullies going to manage when they grow up. I see why so many end up in shelters or rehomed.

It looks like he had a great day! I was thinking today about how cool his name is earlier today!
He is gorgeous by the way!

There was 2 rabbits in the petting zoo but the brown one was not interested at all! It was very funny, WalkingRock walked right up to the fence and sat down, then all the animals the were loose came by to see him. the ponies just looked over but where tied up.

How did you get dog tags in his shell like that?

His dogtag is stuck on with a Heavy Duty 2 part epoxy.

He's a real ham and here is the proof... when camras come out, he'll "Strike a Pose"...

He is a great looking tortoise. The awesome personality does not surprise me, given the species, but his looks are really exceptional.

Thanks for the pics.

Well they certainly give new meaning to the term "under foot". If you are near one, you will soon be tripping. Just ask Maggie... :D
