My Hermann tortoise Georgie started vomiting clear watery fluid while under her lamp this morning.
When I went over to her she had stopped vomiting and I found a piece of soft plastic!! She must have eaten it while outside yesterday!
She was in her outside enclosure for a couple of hours. I didn't notice this plastic but its very light weight and must have blown in, its about an inch in length.
I gave her a soak and put her back in her indoor enclosure with some food. She seems fine now.
This was really scary and just shows how easy something could go wrong.
Keep an eye on those torts, if they can find a way to get into mischief they will 🤣🤣
