The radiata population cannot support even a small number of humans taking them out one by one. If things continue they way they are they will become extinct for sure and the people will just go hungry after they've exhausted their food source. They should be taught to grow sustainable crops like grains and beans, maybe even rice if there's flood lands. Bush meat is a huge problem in developing countries like Africa. Native fauna animals were once respected or feared in native tradition, as soon as outsiders show they there's nothing to fear and respect can be overcome by a simpler means of acquiring food, they will resort to whatever makes their life easier and that is illegal poaching.
