UVB question

We got our first tortoise. A red Footed. He is going to be a day without UVB light as we had to order a new one. We had him out yesterday in the sun for about an hour. And I’ll have him out for a bit when I get home. Will he be ok without UVB for the day? It’s only going to be one day.

Oh yes, torts can last weeks without uvb, he should be fine.

Your tort will be fine. They can go a long time without uvb

In fact, if you can get him/her outside for an hour or so 3-4 times a week for most of the year, you don't need any indoor UVB.
