URGENT: New home for softshell turtle

Hello, haven’t been on here in awhile, I’ve had a florida softshell turtle for about 4 years and I can no longer take care of him and I need to find him a home FAST. I don’t want to just drop him off at a pet store where he’ll sit and wait for a new home in an aquarium that’s likely too small. He’s about 6” long and super healthy as far as I know. I’ve emailed reptile rescues near me (Michigan) and no luck. I’ve attached a couple pics of him. Any suggestions? Please help!
