Is that bad if Herman's urates look pinkish or is this a sign of dehydration?

It can be a sign of problems, but it can also be caused by recent food items. What have you fed your tortoise in the last week?

Has he been eating dandelions? I have heard several members say if they eat to much dandelion that there urates may look pink..

I believe it has been thought to have been caused by eating dandelions or something...pinkish I think is ok if it goes away, bloody would not be OK of course.

I have seen dandelions cause yellowish or brownish urine, but not pink urates, personally.

I've been adding kale to his mixed greens.

Okay, what are the "mixed greens?"

Its like arugala, red and green leaf lettuces, and romaine. I just get the container organic mixes from the grocery store. I only have just noticed his urates being pink just these last 2 days.

Bob has urates that could win a contest, and when he gets dandelions they turn pink. I have seen this with my very own eyes...
