Urate question

I have a Russian tortoise I believe to be about six or seven years old I try to keep him well hydrated usually soaks every couple days and if I don’t soak him I make sure to give him something with lots of water like cucumber and usually he’ll P during that or when he’s in the bath but the last week or so I haven’t seen any urates has he been super hydrated or is he dehydrated I worry he is having a hard time urateing

Tortoises form urates in times of drought in order to conserve their precious water.

In times of plenty, there is no need to concentrate the urine. Your tortoise has an abundance of water due to the frequent soaks and high water content foods. It is not forming urates because it is well hydrated.
