Unriped fruits and veggies

My neighbor has a garden and she doesnt mind me picking things anytime i want. If there are some fruit or vaggies that are just not quite ripe yet, is it ok to feed to my red foot?

Its ok, however they really do LOVE over-ripe fruit.

My dad had two eastern box turtles that roamed his yard and would take bites out of all his low lying vegetables. He would act mad about it, but always made sure that they could get in his garden. They seemed to like them any way, blossoms, under ripe, ripe or ones he put on the compost pile. Which is where they spent a lot of their time on colder days.
