My kitty had a bad eye, we took him to bets mon were she said it was a minor ulser in the eye...
She gave is some eye drops but hes struggling to open his eye at all today...

Does anyone know how long they take to heal? Or if they get worst to get better? Thanks

It usually takes a couple of weeks to heal, some vets will add an oral antibiotic
as well, it just depends if it's superficial or a deep ulcer as well as what it was caused by ie viral,a scratch bacterial....
If the eye is not any better after 5 days you should recheck with the vet or sooner if the cat is not eating/drinking.
Also cleaning the eyes with warm water on a cotton ball helps remove all the dry crust, you can do that before you apply the eye meds.
Hope we feel better soon!

There are many factors as to how long it will take to heal ?

Did they send with a E-Collar ?? that will help tremendously along with the ophthalmic meds
