I don't quite understand what you are saying there Linda.

Can you see the difference in the carapace? ( I'll see if I can get a pic of them together )

Just joking around. I see the difference and similarity.
You know those brain teasers where you have to find the different changes between two pictures?????

That is pretty wild! It does look like the same tort from different angles. They are really beautiful as well.

--- DUH!?! I'm not an English major or anything.. but without a comma or something, I couldn't figure out what you where saying. They still got those 'brain-teaser' things?.... I remember seeing them in a big book when I was in grade school [ early '50's ].. seems like the name "Highlights" was in there somewhere??? I don't get out much.......

The "Shepherd" almost always sees things about his... that might not be real noticeable to some.

The point of these.. is the "bars" over the eyes instead of all of the spots. Think about most of those that you've seen.. or the one(s) you have - a good 95% of them have spots on their head/nose.

I know.. it's not that important to most.. they're all cute! A good 95% of the ones I hatch have rows of spots over their eyes. But occasionally these come along.

A third sibling - [ be sure to click to view full-size.. and again for full-screen ] -

Nose patterns too -

He still has a yolk-sac that takes up 1/3 of his plastron and his colors will brighten as he starts to eat etc., he's only been out of the egg since Monday. Amazing how all of the tiny details are made perfect... I've seen it several times and it still amazes me!
