Love the tortoise butt pic. Beautiful color coming in in the growth lines. What are the white specks in your substrate? Most evident in the first picture?

Just double checking, is the coconut oil okay to put on him? I know I read a couple threads about some kind of oil, but can't remember what kind.
Btw, very cute leopard.

I'm guessing the tort was marked by the breeder. Our Dalmatian came with a blue dot to signify her family line, should we want to get her a pal in the future and avoid inbreeding. I don't think her tort was plastered in nail polish. At least, I really hope so.
I can't imagine coconut oil is bad for their shell (it's good for EVERYTHING else). He looks gorgeous!

I'm sure the little girl who painted the tortoise thought she had made him more beautiful, but I have to say, "Wowza!!" What a pretty baby!!!

Looks lovely now yes extra virgin coconut oil is ok i use it like 2 times a month on mine
