Tortoises tail

Help, my 3 year old leopard tortoises tail has turned into his Shell and seems bent. He's active and eating fine.

Help, my 3 year old leopard tortoises tail has turned into his Shell and seems bent. He's active and eating fine.

Try soaking him in lukewarm water for 20-30 minutes and see if the tail will return to its normal position.

I did as soon as I noticed it , I think he had a little flash , then a poo , but think it's gone back into his shell again now .

Can he get it out?
Does it seem stuck?
If he can get it out on his own leave it alone. If not, I would carefully and slowly try to get it unstuck.

I gently released it , it looked stuck to me, he's sleeping now and I can see the tip of his tail now thank goodness. I will check him 1st thing in the morning. Thanks for the advice. Hopefully it doesn't happen again..
