So now that TortoiseForum.org officially has a booth here at the Las Vegas Reptile Expo on October 16-17, who of you is going to come into town for it? Don't worry, we'll find work for you all. We have a giant tortoise petting zoo going on that I need a few babysitters for.

I am SO mad... I just used up all my vaca for summer time camping. Wonder if i can make it down. Always need an excuse to go to Vegas

That would be a nice time of year to visit Vegas and my inlaws just bought a house there so we (our family) should visit, so I may go. I am going to my first reptile show (San Diego) this month so I don't really know what to expect.

No good reason needed to go to Vegas - just go! Room rates at the venue for Friday and Saturday night are $69/night if you mention the reptile expo (nice rooms, not ghetto ones you'd expect for $69), and parking is free. Rooms on Thursday night and Sunday night are priced at $35 for the expo people. There's something like 15-20 restaurants at the same place (as well as a huge movie theatre and bowling lanes), so you'd never need to leave the venue if you were in town for the weekend.
