Hello everyone! I have a 2 year old leopard tortoise and today her uvb light stopped working. A new one is on the way, but I don't know how long before it gets here. She's getting UVA from one of the heat lamps in her enclosure, but I was wondering how long leopards could last without a UVB light. Also, do you have any ideas of what I could do in the mean time? It's gonna be in the upper 60's for the next few days where i live so putting her outside would be out of the question right? Thank you for reading, and any help would be awesome.

They don't need the extra d3 while you wait. Too much of d3 is a bad thing. He/they will be just fine.

They can go at least a couple of months with no UV with no problems.

To clarify. They don't need extra d3 while you wait, not needed, but you can. Too much of the supplemented d3 is not good.

Thank you everyone for helping! I just wanted to make sure she'd be okay until she can get some UVB. Thanks again to everyone who posted!
