Hello how do I know if a tort is under weight or overweight

Tortoises grow at different speeds and it's difficult to judge exactly.
It should feel heavy and solid like a rock.
Weigh your tortoise monthly and as long as it makes progress, putting on weight steadily, it should be fine.
It shouldn't get overweight if the diet is correct, exercise is taken and the set up is right.

Use a food scale. Mine weighs in increments of 1/8 ounces.
