Tortoise Tea Bath!

Hello everyone! As I write this, I am watching my little Russian in complete zen mode in his soak. Somewhat recently I’ve started soaking them with flower tea (all safe for consumption, he’s soaking in True Jasmine today) and I was curious if any other keepers do this. It’s not every soak I do it, just as a biweekly soak I like to put some buds in there for him. Even if they aren’t eating the actual flowers I assume they absorb some of the nutrients through the water like tea.

Love the idea went to a nutrition class for my parrots one time and they was talking about the benefits on parrots drinking it I may have to try that with my chelonians ! Thinking habiscus tea :)
