Now I am getting a new baby sulcata in about a month and I plan on building a tortoise table. Does anyone have any examples of a their own or any tips about building them? Thanks!

I think for hatchling and baby sully's closed chambers are recommended so it's easier to keep in the humidity for them.
I think @YvonneG
And @Tom
Have sully's and will be able to help you out more than I can. I am sully-less.

The room this table is in has high humidity due to a large aquatic turtle tub. I don't recommend a table. Closed chamber is the way to go. ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1460574639.676061.jpg

Tortoise tables are generally speaking , unsuitable for optimal Sulcata growth . A closed environment will help to maintain the needed heat and humidity ! He was in a 55 gallon aquarium with a closed top ! Notice the moisture on the glass , due to the needed 80 % humidity !

For his "outside time I used a kiddy wading pool til his 10' by 15' area was done . It worked well for us !

In the process of finishing Mia's Tortoise table. It is 4' x 3', underground hide (85% humidity), grass growing shelf underneath. Any thoughts? Any suggestions?

In a room you can never keep the humidity by 80 - 85 % or you will get mold in the whole room. But little sulcata babies need such a high humidity or their shell will pyramide.
A tortoise table is not the right way to raise a baby sulcata.

Thanks for the feedback. The underground hide on the left side is holding 85% humidity and is large enough for her to triple in size. I will keep the mold issue in mind. Thanks again.
