Tortoise not eating suggestion

my baby would not eat anything in his indoor habitat one day. It didn’t matter what I offered.

I took him outside and he was going crazy eating clover and dandelions, things I was offering indoors. He even ate half an earthworm.
I think they prefer to hunt for their food outdoors if possible. No pesticides of course.

a difference between inside and outside is lighting ...... lighting does affect appetite among other things ........ it takes an effort to somewhat duplicate sunlight inside ......
