Tortoise finding friends

Was turning the mulch this evening in my tortoise pen and one of my tortoises came out of his hide box to see what was going on. So I turned him out in the yard and let him roam around. I went to go get him and found that he made a new friend in my tall grass up close to the house. haha

I think your tort is being territorial and in it's own sweet way trying to remove the rabbit from it's property.
But they do look like they're rabbiting away together, don't they ?
