Tortoise enclosure

I recently made a new indoor enclosure for my one year old Hermann out of pine without realising it was apparently toxic for them if it gets hot , i read some say its not true and some say it can kill them so i have yet to put her in it but is there any way i can make it non toxic as ive spend a decent amount to built it custom to the biggest size i can but her health is more important , ive triple lined it with pool liner

I don't think pine is a problem. Cedar is a problem. @Yvonne G

You don't want to use pine SHAVINGS for substrate, but pine lumber has been kiln dried and the oil is no longer a problem.
