Myrtle is a Desert tortoise and I know they are susceptible to respiratory infections and are supposed to stay in more of a dry climate, so how often should I bathe her. She really likes her warm Tortoise soaks. Also I remember reading on one of the threads about a calcium I can put in her bath, does anyone know what it is called?

You may want to read up some on soils . Yes deserts are dry ! But desert torts dig down in the soil were the soil is moist and pee in their holes all this means the holes are high in moisture or humidity . And in the heat of the day they are in their holes when the humidity is the highest point . They go out to eat in the early mornings and the eve's . So don't under estimate the humidity that they need . And don't forget most eggs hatch one or two days after a good rain .

Thank you! I've read so much it's all controversial, I knew I'd get the best answers here. I just didn't want to feel guilty by bathing her. We don't get much rain here in the Mojave desert and it's almost never humid, so reading how she shouldn't be in too much of a moist area made me paranoid.
