Tort making strange noise/movement

I was soaking my tortoise when he made a noise that sounded like he blew out air very fast, and at the same time he also put all his limbs and head into his shell. It startled me and luckily I was taking a video of it. I uploaded it on to Youtube so maybe you guys can take a look at it and tell me what my Tort is up to. He makes the noise at the very end of the video for those that want to skip ahead.

Something startled him and he withdrew into his shell very quickly. In doing so, he forced all the air out of his lungs and the whooshing sound you heard was just the air being expelled. Most all tortoises do this.

Yep Yvonne is right yet again (your so clever) My Sulcata does that when I startle him.
