My Paddy had his first tick a while ago. His groomer removed and murdered it for us - eugh! Only a small tick, though. We use Advocate; Matt (the groomer) told us that these products won't immediately kill ticks, which is why we notice live ticks on our pets. Ticks are horrid things. Your poor poodle!
