So it was protein day and i had given my two red foots chicken. I have done this several times and they seem to always enjoy it, finishing every last bite.

A few hours later as T-swift(tortoise swift) was getting out of her bath she threw up water and 3 small pieces of chicken. I soaked her she pooped and seemed to be ok. So I let her sit for a little while. As of right now she seems to be ok just a little slower moving then normal but still active.

Should i be worried? I made a vet appointment for a little later today just figured id ask for some advice from you guys since you always help out when i need it.

She may of drank some water to soften the chicken and she ended up bringing a little up instead? I think she'll be fine :) see what others think

Just thinking this is something Alan my RF would do. Keep a close eye though and any severe changes then go to the vets but I think you'll find they'll be absolutely fine ;)

Yeah...they can spit up too...especially if they gorged and then added the water and yup, can totally happen....as mentioned, just keep note if she should do it again...and do you feed organic chicken? There is a huge amount of chemical saturation that takes place with chicken in the processing part of the marketing before it ever hits the store...

I do the same only I bake it in a Pyrex dish without anything added. Sounds like you did the right thing and don't be worrying ;)

Not offended at all. I went through a stage of only eating organic free range chicken due to the conditions of our chickens in the UK go through. I watched another documentary on free range and it appeared the only difference was the amount of chickens in one cage etc .... The injection of chemicals etc remained the same. So I do on occasions buy non organic free range.
