My baby Eastern Box is throwing her bedding into her pond.

It's not a big deal, but she is doing it for a reason. Maybe for humidity?

Also, she will get a hair up her *** occasionally.

Today she went medieval on her eggs and fruit. And gave me the EYEBALL!

The EYEBALL is very disconcerting.

If you post a picture of her enclosure members can see if there's anything affecting her behaviour.

What do you mean about the hair? Sounds as if it's something she could be passing out rather than the other way.

"A hair up your ***'" is a figure of speech meaning she got some wild ideas and carried out on these ideas.

She is now very active. I fed her today and she ate like a starving hog.

She senses spring I think.

Bob, what kind of bedding is it?

I've watched my little girl drag stuff to water to soak/soften so she can chow down later....maybe she's planning on lean times? LOL

Not something we say here in the UK.
I thought she'd been wandering the house and eaten pet or human hair!
I learn something new here everyday!!! 😅

Lyn, I used to run a US Mechanical division for Atkins, a UK firm. As such, there were 42 people in the office in Arlington VA, and only one other guy was an American too...lol.

Steve (UK guy of course), and I used to play a game where he would give me, my "English word or phrase of the day".

It's ironic, that I used to "learn my new thing" from that side of the pond!
