Hi guys, after my sully start digging her burrow, i made her a little spot ...i used a large flower pot....and she/he loves it..she didnt even bother digging deeper in her burrow.
Also i moved the pool in the sunny area, instead of the shady area.
I just need more rocks around the pool.
Just wanted to show you guys.

That's one heck of a flower pot:D. Looks good. Just be sure s/he can get out of the pool easily. Also, s/he is large enough to tell the sex of. If s/he has a long tail, usually carried to the side and a concave plastron (bottom shell underneath). Then is a male. If a short tail and not concave, then female. If you can post pics of the tail area and the bottom shell by the tail we can sex her/him for you.

That's okay. Sounds like you have a male and a female. If the one can wrap his tail around his leg, I would bet male:D

I use a plastic garbage can lid for a water hole. easy to dump, clean.
if that black pool is in the sun.. that water will get hot.. so be sure to check it..

Sandra, when you have a minute to spare, post a photo from the top of the one with the shorter tail lined up next to a measuring tape. The whole shell. It looks like you have a male and a female. Also, a pic of the face would help (me).

I tell mainly be the tail and anal scutes for a given size (like most folks). I have also worked out something with the face, interestingly enough. It does not always work, but it usually does. I am not sharing that yet because it is one of my competitive advantages in earlier detection of some females. "It" is not a guarantee by any means, but it usually matches other typical sexually differentiating features. The size and sex was for you. The face was for me. ;)
